the name

Decomposition: rotten, decayed, putrid, corrupt, depraved, tainted, stinking.

Beauty: pretty, good-looking, charming, sweet, attractive.

See, Decomposition Beauty is a sentence combined by two exact opposite adjective words. The name was completely chosen from one of the GazettE (a Japanese rock band) tour name. Despite how i am so inspired by them, i took the sentence because it's so meaningful yet presentative.

So for me, DB means a beautifulness that has decomposed or makes everything decomposed. It's not that i want to give that chemistry to my art, simply it's just so me. From art's point of view itself, it's the matchest one for me.

born of

I had long experiences of website designing. I started a graphics site named Final Summoning before. Closed due to expired domain and i needed to reborn a new site. Final Summoning opened in the early 2007 and closed in the middle 2008.

Decomposition Beauty was officially opened on 2009. I had very deep and long thoughts of this site. I had intentions of making a portfolio site which contains my advanced arts, which i'd like to sell so everyone could hire my services.

Then, my very good friend, Sea, whom i met at LiveJournal and sharing same obsessions, offered to help me out. She bought me a domain.

the layout

This was actually my first vector using random shapes that i created using Photoshop's pen tool. It looked so good and i insanely fell in love with this. I remade some layouts and got this one as the most satisfying one. This layout's fully coded in Notepad with Div/CSS coding.
